New Interactive XY Browser
The XY Browser for Windows is an advanced 2d plotting utility which replaces the Interactive XY Graph utility. With this new utility the users can easily browse, view and modify the appearance of measurement function data stored in ADF files.
Features of the XY Browser include:
Record selection, browsing and viewing:
- Select multiple sets of measurement function data from one or multiple ADF files via the I-deas record selection form.
- Quickly browse through the selected traces using the mouse or cursor keys, the data is plotted instantaneously.
- Select multiple functions to easily create plots overlaying multiple graphs.
- Access commonly used actions such as zooming through toolbar buttons.
Customization of graph settings:
- Adjust chart, plot, and axis regions with corresponding property pages.
- Customize and store the default graph settings for each function type (e.g. FRF).
- Auto-save settings feature: the XY Browser retains all users graph settings including cursors, scaling, legends, etc. on a per-function type basis.
- Create and store additional user-defined graph settings to easily recall customized layouts, e.g., for reports.
- Change or modify the units used by the graph.
Printing and exporting graphs:
- Enhanced printing with Page Setup, Print Preview, and template capabilities.
- Copy the graph as an image file for use in a report, or copy the graph as an ActiveX object retaining the data allowing users to interact with the graph in MS Word, PowerPoint, or Excel.
Enhanced Interactive Real Time Displays
Improvements to the Interactive Real Time Displays include:
- Removed the need to install Exceed except to use Closed Loop Control.
- Increased the screen refresh rate and decreased the CPU utilization of the displays.
- Can easily ‘jump’ to channels via a pull down list.
- Added waterfall displays.
- Improved the overall look and feel.
- Can optionally display reduced data (only for frame sizes >= 8096 data points).
- Can resize the tachometer display.
- Added quick launch buttons for Tachometer display and Input Level Summary.
- Improved autorange button labeling.
- Corrected refresh “flashing” for Time+Spectra displays (9185).
- Corrected display update problems for frame length less than 1/5 sec (9082).
- Corrected update problems for FRF, FRF+Coh, and Auto Spectra (8848).
- Corrected range indicator blanking when one range was updated manually (8996).
- Corrected hangs when using high frame sizes (> 16000) and trace weight >= 2.
- Corrected display size interference with Windows task bar.
Native G’s support
- Graphing of acceleration data will allow the user to view Y-axis acceleration data in “G’s”. The graphing support will be available in XY Graphing, XYZ Graphing and Time history graphing as well as Time History Interactive Editing.
Bug Fixes
- Corrected issue with Channel Table Spreadsheet (CTS) level indicators that blanked for channel counts above 125 (10453).
- Corrected issue with pasting content to dropdown cells in CTS which should not be case sensitive (10434).
- Corrected issue where copying of multiple cells from Excel to CTS would error that the number of cells on the clipboard does not match the number of selected cells even when it does match (10354).
- Corrected scaling issue related to XY Graphing of transmission loss.
- Corrected issue graphing time histories in Ðl6 (Kanji language) mode Labels where not being shown correctly when graphing time histories in Ðl6 mode with vector encoding.
- Corrected issue where the A-weighted data was not being processed correctly in the acoustic post processing utility.
