Additional Enhancements
– If Exceed has been installed, it can be disabled for the
Signal Processing task by setting an environmental variable
TDAS_EXCEED_PATH=NONE.
– The Normal Mode Tuning install now supports Windows 64-bit
operating systems.
– The ADF Convenience Library has been updated to Visual C++ 2010 for both
32-bit and 64-bit support. Visual Basic support has been removed. New options for opening
an ADF include setting the maximum path and file name length, and whether or not to
allow spaces in the path and file name.
– The license installer has been updated to
support Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012.
– Improvements were made to the VXI frontend driver to allow a larger
number of channels to be used with the Firewire (IEEE 1394) controller.
Bug Fixes
– The problem has been fixed where the Advanced Modal Wizard was not setting
the artificial damping in the parameter results. This information is saved
in the FRFs when the Exponential Decay window is applied but was not being
transferred to the Parameter Table.
NOTE: The artifical damping can be applied to the Parameter Table
by using the menu command “/PA PA E C”.
– Returning borrowed licenses will now work correctly.
– A bug was fixed where Time Capture was failing to create
a Time History ADF if the total measurement size was greater than 8
gigabytes.
– A problem was fixed where the graph of a PSD was missing
the ” / HZ” text when using the option to “Show Acceleration as Gravitational
Constant (g)”.
– The Interactive Real Time Displays were fixed for the crash that
happened when the “%” character was used in the channel description.
– The Dataset 55 (mode shapes) import was zeroing the modal mass in the Shape
ADF record headers. This would then give errors or invalid results for other
operations such as creating the Parameter Table from a Shape ADF. The modal
mass is now preserved during the Dataset 55 read.
– For VXI throughput, starting additional throughput
sessions would occassionally give an error about a bad frame number.
This has been fixed.
– The VXI frontend driver now correctly recognizes setting
the 24-bit sampling flag in the UCF.
– Advanced Modal Wizard was crashing if a non-English month name was used in the
date attribute of a Function ADF record. One source of this problem was the
import of Dataset 58 (Functions) that contained dates created by a non-English
locale. The fix changes the unrecognized month name to “Jan” to allow
processing to continue.
